    Hello!

I create a custom taxonomy. The filtering works great when I choose a Taxonomy field as a dropdown, but when I type a specific tag from this taxonomy, it does not work. Do you know how I could enable this?

    Thanks ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Hi there!

The search box cannot search Taxonomy Term names, but Relevanssi can!

And you can combine it with S&F –

    Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hello ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for your answer. I downloaded Relevanssi and activated Relevanssi option in the SF menu, but it still doesn’t find the custom taxonomy. Any idea what I could do more?

    Thanks!

I think this may be an issue in Relevanssi.

Can you try using the default WordPress search with Relevanssi enabled and see if Relevanssi is working properly to search in the custom taxonomy?

You of course have to configure Relevanssi to search in this taxonomy via their settings page.

    Thanks

    Hi!

Hmm…I see that I need the premium version of Relevanssi to search in custom taxonomies…It’s almost 80$ and this featured is essential to my website. What can I do?

    Thank you,

It is available in the free version too

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/relevanssi/

    Under “Advanced features” it says:

Index custom post types and custom taxonomies.

I’ve used this before with Relevanssi so maybe you are just not setting it up correctly.

    Thanks

    Hello!

The search form is working correctly, I couldn’t find the option page at the first place. Now it seems to be working great.

I just have an issue with the Taxononmy UI – when I choose a Product Category or a custom taxonomy as a dropdown or combobox for example, the count number is right but when I click on it, no results shows up. I tried with no “other value” checked. Could this be another setting that is not set correctly?

    Thanks a lot again,

I noticed that for the product category results (woocommerce), the default results string is:
?_sft_product_cat, but if do ?_sft_product-cat the results seems to show up. Maybe it’s a slug issue?

    Hello!

I think I resolved my problem. It was due to translations missing – once I had done that, It seems to have worked. But now it is only working on one language, even if on both languages, the count is right… ๐Ÿ™

    Hey there

S&F will only be able to display results from 1 language at a time – you can’t combine the results :/

Are you using WPML? Take a look at setup instructions here:

    Thanks
