Apologies if this has been asked before – I couldn’t find anything in a search.
I’m wondering if it is possible to add a general form element to the search form.
I have an application which is producing a set of results of vintage photos and at the moment the results are decorated using css to give the appearance that the images are 35mm photo slides. In the scope if the site this application works on this is completely appropriate (it’s a site which features vintage photo slides), but it also results in the photo being much smaller so I’d like to add a flag in the search form which allows the user to turn this feature on or off when they search the photos.
So what would be useful would be a way to add a general form element (a radio button in this instance) which isn’t related to individual photo items as a meta field would be, and then a filter which can be hooked into after the query is run to read the state of the radio button.
Does this sound possible?
Thanks
