unsing the filter plugin for wp default post types and categories it works on my site, integrated by shortcode on a fresh page. But changing the same filter settings to a custom post type created with wp-types toolset, and new taxonomy it delivers no search results. The taxonomy filter can be setup, it also shows values and counts at the front page. But selecting an item delivers no results.

I read another thread where somebody used it togehter with CPT created with wp-types more than a year ago having other issues, so I’m wondering why it does not work any more. Anything which is against using them togehter? Any ideas?

The second question is: where does the automated detection of taxonomies work. I read “S&F will try to detect the post type and associated taxonomies of the current page”
So should this work on a custom page type(custom post type “page”), which is assigned to the same taxonomy like the listings I’m trying to filter? So if I have a custom page type “country” and a custom post type “holiday homes” which are both assigned to the taxonomy “location”, should the filter detect the assigned taxonomy and do a pre set for the filter? I tried it several times but did not work for me.
