    Hello,
    I would like to have the search results displayed in a list format, very much like booking.com has.
    I have searched for templates on the custom layouts but couldn’t find any, and when creating one there is no option to make it in a way that the results display in list format, I was only able to create cards with the image on top and the excerpt underneath.
    Is there a way to create it so that the image is on the left and the excerpt on the right side of it?

    Create a new Template in the Templates page. In the template section, open the Featured Image settings, and set as shown:

    Then you can create a new Layout and use the Template you just made.

    The number of columns would need setting to 1.
