I have a question or two about creating manual entry dropdowns. If I want to create one that’s a range for between 1000 – 2000, what should the value be? I tried starteValue+endValue but it didn’t seem to work.

Also I would like to create a dropdown so the value encompasses multiple options. So for example someone would select New York City on the dropdown and the search would include Battery Park, Brooklyn and Chelsea. Is that possible?

All of these value are ACF fields.

    Thanks

I am not sure that I understand what you want?

I am also not sure how our plugin would know that those districts are part of New York?

How do I create a custom range in the dropdown? I want to search between 1000 and 3000, I tried making the value 1000+3000. Which seems the be how the values work when I auto generate the dropdown, but that didn’t work.

For the other question. Can I create a custom value like this: New York City and the value would equal Battery Park, Brooklyn, Chelsea. So the search would look for those three in the ACF field.

Let us resolve the manual ranges first. You want to change what is created by the plugin to your own values? This post shows how this can be done, but you will need to change the code to suit your needs:

You need to decide how many terms you want in the list first, the code above has four range values (PHP numbers elements in an array from 0, so they are numbered 0, 1, 2 and 3).

The only way our search form would find those districts if you selected New York would be to make the ACF field a multi value field, and have, for example, both New York and Brooklyn set for a post, etc.
