    Hi
I’v got a several fields search form ( some are ACF). It is an “AND” request. Whatever i enter in the keywords field, leaving other fields to “all” , I have the same wrong results.
If I complete the search with a category field, I have those same wrong results, plus the good ones…
    Thanks
    Gilles

Are you able to send me a live link/URL to your search page so I can take a look?

Are you able to suggest some searches for me to make and explain what is wrong with the results each time?

    Thanks for your answer
    Here is the search page:
    https://bassinversant.org/recherche

    Try this :
1 – just in the keyword enter a number 2682*.The only right answer is the last one.(you may try with “Vade-mecum à l’usage des maires”
2 – try an other number , the first wrong results are still there
3- If your try 2682 and select rubrique > PRZH(1) , the results is the same…wrong
4- if you add “type de contenus” > ressources …the result is good ( just one answer)

    * it is an ACF field with is not shown on the front office

    Thanks

Ah, you want it to search in a Custom Field?

Our plugin does not directly allow you to do text searches of individual Post Meta (custom fields) and Taxonomy (Category, Tags and Taxonomies) data/terms. The Search & Filter Pro Text Search field uses the standard WordPress search, so looks only in the Post Title and Content. To help you control this better, on the form’s Advanced settings tab you will see 2 settings for Relevanssi.

The documentation for this is here:

    https://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/3rd-party/relevanssi/

You would need to install and activate the free Relevanssi plugin as well.

Then set Relevanssi up and build its index (make sure it is indexing the desired post types, custom fields AND any taxonomy that you want to search).
