If you are searching a single Post Type, and if you have Elementor Pro, you could use the Post Type Archive method together with our extension for Elementor and the Elementor Post Archives widget. The extension can be downloaded from the guide page (if you are logged in, it is a blue button at the top of the page):

This combination does not require a Results URL, and you can also enable it to stay in the taxonomy pages of that post type.
Any taxonomy you want to autodetect must be a field in the form (you can, if you wish, hide that taxonomy field using custom CSS). Then these two settings must be ON:
1. Set autodetect category/taxonomy:

2. And also set ‘Enable filtering on Taxonomy Archives’:
Hi Trevor!
Thanks for your message!
Sadly we are using the taxonomies in a different way: we don’t use Archive because we need to have a custom taxonomy, so we create each landing page for each taxonomy we have, which anyway is something we want to do because we optimize each page.
So the “archive” are Pages we create manually. We need to see the results URL due to this or is there a fix to use the same form for all of these pages?
Thanks,
Carlos
