Hey, you’ve probably answered this question before however digging through the forums I couldn’t find an answer that works so bear with me –

Anyways –

my setup: shortcodes w/ ‘downloads’ selected attempting to use Post Meta tags

Using Marketify configured with EDD using FES(front end submission forms)
In the form field it allows you to create a Meta Key. For example ‘Science’ which will have the same Meta-key of ‘science’.

Using the Auto-suggest it returns only meta-keys eg: ‘Anatomy’, ‘physical science’ that have a product selected to the group even though there are groups such as ‘chemistry’ that never register.
Also what is confusing is that say if a downloaded item was tagged in both ”Anatomy’ and ‘physical science’ then the auto suggest will return a category that is doubled ”Anatomy | ‘physical science’.
I tried this in another category which returned a single filter for 9 subjects eg: ”
Economics| Geography| US History| World History| Ancient History| Lessons Plans| Game| PowerPoint| SmartBoard| Homework| Worksheet| Assessment| Other” because I thought if my item was tagged in all they would all show up separately, which is what I’m looking to do.

I had some success creating Meta-tags in MDTF – sort panels but then I couldn’t get the Subcategories ‘Anatomy’ and ‘physical science’, etc selected in the FES to show up.

What do you think is the best solution going forward? Thank you
