    Hello, I have a calendar post type that has start and end date. I can set a search by post meta and search by start date (date range).

    Some posts don’t have a start date. So I would like to have the logic be: if no post meta start date, use the post’s publication date.

    Is this possible?

    Hey Michael I’m afraid not :/

    There is no functionality like this implemented where one field falls back to another type of field – sounds pretty tricky to add in.
