I had posted on here a while ago regarding help with setting up S&F Pro with the WPBakery page builder plugin and was able to successfully get everything working. I was able to set up a Post Grid that used an S&F form to filter the content for a post grid. Everything was working fine, and most of it still is. I can use the search form to filter through the post grid, but I’ve run into issues when hitting the ‘Next’ button to load the next 10 posts into the grid. This was working in the past and the next batch of posts would load into the grid without reloading the entire page.
Today I logged back into my WP admin to make a few minor styling changes to my site and noticed that hitting the ‘Next’ button doesn’t work as expected anymore. Instead of loading the next 10 posts without reloading the page, the button redirects me to the actual page associated with a particular post. I haven’t changed any settings regarding S&F Pro in a while, and I’m not sure what could be causing this issue. Searching the post grid still works and doesn’t cause a redirect or reload. It’s only when I try to load the next 10 posts.
I noticed that my theme (LeadEngine) had an update that added a new version of WPBakery (from 6.2 to 6.3), so I thought that might be the issue and tried updating the theme. This didn’t fix the issue. I’ve also got S&F Pro v2.5.1 installed, which I believe is the latest available. I’ve gone through all the configuration/setup instructions for using S&F Pro with the WPBakery Post Grid, and everything appears to be right. I think the fact that the search function still works indicates this to some degree. I’ve selected WordPress Pagination in the post grid General settings panel. I can’t think of much else that could be wrong and still allow the search function to work. Is this something others have experienced? Do my symptoms indicate anything in particular?
Trevor(Private) September 24, 2020 at 7:24 am #260623What is the version number of our WPBakery extension plugin that you are using? We went from beta (0.x) to full release a little while ago, and it will not show as available as an upgrade. The full release (1.0.x) version of our Search & Filter WPBakery Page Builder Extension can be downloaded and then installed from clicking the big blue button (you need to be logged in to see it) at the top of the guide page:
