    Hi,

I’m using a S&F Pro form on my homepage which works great (see screenshot: https://i.postimg.cc/gJNMmXZ4/Screenshot-16.png) but I want to give vistors the options to filter out the search results with a different search form (so they can filter on ACF fields for example).

Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Could you not add those fields to that form, or do you mean to add a second form to the page (which is unlikely to work), or does the first form go to a different results page, and in that you want a more advanced form?

Are you able to send me a live link/URL to your search page so I can take a look?

You could add the fields, but hide them using CSS, yes?

But, in any case, you could make a second, longer form for the search results page and that would, in your scenario, ‘receive’ the search terms from the home page form.

All you need do is change the form on the Home page to the Custom method and disable Ajax. Then make sure the form and results shortcodes on the search results page are for the longer form.

I am a little puzzled. The sidebar form on the results page is set to Custom. We have a free additional extension for Elementor Pro, which you should download (if you are logged in) from top of this guide page:

    https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/elementor/

Please read the guide carefully, as the method you have used may differ a lot.

I just edited (shortened) that last reply quite a bit, so please read it on the forum, and not the email.
