    Good morning,
The weeks are passing and no one is giving me still indications to resolve the problem indicated in the topic “pro plugin does not work” # 25576.
I installed the latest version but things have not changed.
I brought forward my last request because previously you had not looked out the form correctly.

Thanks, I look as soon as possible a clarification

You already have all the passwords and directions.

“You have see the wrong form…
    this is the serch&form http://www.adcontent.it/astesana/wp-admin/post.php?post=11586&action=edit
    and it is all correct.
And This is the page that I had already indicated.

    http://www.adcontent.it/astesana/?page_id=4356

I do not understand why you’ve looked at something that had nothing to do with the page indicated.
I deleted the other form to avoid further misunderstandings.
I renew my urgent request for help.”

Hi there, apologies your ticket must have slipped through in this avalanche of support threads since the 2.0 release.

Ok so I had a look.

I rebuilt the cache, and it looks like this is working:

    http://www.adcontent.it/astesana/?page_id=4356&_sft_portfolio_category=beach&_sft_portfolio_tags=alessandria

If you see it uses both tag & cat and is working.

Was this working for you before? Is this how you expect it to work?

Try making some changes, if there are still issues try to rebuild the cache.

If this works, then I will need to add a fix in so you don’t need to manually rebuild the cache after every change, this is then a bug.

    Thanks

    Ok thanks,
Now with the 2.0 it seems to work.
but I do not understand why you can see in this graphic manner, quite different from your demo (huge images, titles unreadable).
Why do not the normal small box?

    Hi there

Please see the docs on shortcode mode (which you are using) vs archive mode –

    http://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/search-results/#Shortcode_vs_Archive

If you are using shortcode mode, and wish to customise the results layout then you must see here:

    http://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/search-results/using-a-shortcode/#Customising_the_Results

Alternatively, you can try another display method such as archive to use a layout that comes with your theme.

The two demos I have online – one is WooCommerce – which uses the woocommerce templates – this is how I got a grid on that one, and on the Movie Demos, was using a template from the 2015 theme using archive mode (with some small modifications).

Let me know if there are any further issues.

    Thanks

I am following the instructions but it remains that, if I click on a product / portfolio filtered, it sends me on a 404 page…

Do you have a link to this search form?

Can you explain what you are doing exactly that is giving you a 404?

Restarting the computer, this error is gone. Now I’m trying to costumizzare the reluts.php hoping to make it acceptable, but I’m not handy php. Thanks for the support

    Hello,
I hope it is the last time I have to write . Could you give me an indication on how to put the results on the grid and not in column one below the other ?
is currently unusable , I used to make me do it from a developer if there had to be this problem .
For the moment I only managed to shrink the image .

    thank you very much

Please don’t open new tickets when this one is already open.

So, what you have done is use the shortcode method to display results.

With this method, you must have some knowledge of WordPress templates in order to customise the results.

As mentioned above – this link will show you how to create a custom template for your search results:

    http://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/search-results/using-a-shortcode/#Customising_the_Results

Once you have that in place, you can make the necessary changes.

After this you will need to find out what works best with your theme or try some tutorials on creating wordpress templates – please see this similar post:

    https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/search-results-as-grid/#post-24882

I’m afraid this is custom work and not within scope of support.

    Thanks

    Hi,
I would just point out one more mistake. If you arrive on the page and not make any selection, but click directly on an item, this refers to a 404 page.
The thing does not happen if you select something. But it is easier for a user to do this thing. How to fix this error?
The link reference is always the same. To test not select anything but click directly on a title.
