    Hello,
I think Search & Filter – WPBakery PB Extension might need an update. When I use Mac Chrome browser I get correctly filtered results, but when I use PC IE, PC Chrome, Mac Safari, Mac Firefox I get all the posts in results (most recent first) – no filtering.

Here is a results URL you can test:
    https://integratedcarefoundation.org/the-knowledge-tree/aligned-payment-systems-results?_sft_category=aligned-payment-systems

On Chrome Mac I see correctly see only 2 results for this query, but on all other browsers I see all posts. Things worked a few weeks ago before the WordPress 5.5 update. All plug-ins are up-to-date, plus I’m using the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin. It reports:
https://integratedcarefoundation.org/wp-content/plugins/search-filter-pro/admin/assets/js/jquery.qtip.min.js: jQuery.fn.attr(‘checked’) might use property instead of attribute

I know I can revert to using the shortcode to show results, but it would be better if the WPBakery PB Extension worked the way it used to to filter the results.

    Thanks

    Trevor

What is the version number that you have of that extension? The current version is 1.0.0.

Hi Trevor – I have 1.0.0 – the most current version.
I’ve created a fresh staging copy of the site – would you like access?

    On this link:

I do not see our form on the page. It is generally needed on the page (even if hidden with CSS) I think.

But I’m trying to use the WP Bakery Search widget to display the results – not shortcodes. Perhaps I’ve not set that up correctly?

Backend Form Results Config page - set to WP Bakery Grid

Backend results page WP Bakery Grid window

I’ve now tried adding the Search Form Shortcode to the results page (at the top – not hidden), but I still get the unfiltered results regardless.

I believe it’s the WP Bakery Widget that’s not working properly anymore. When I use the normal Results Shortcode rather that the WP Bakery Widget that works as you’d expect (and I find that don’t need to include Search Form Shortcode on the page either).
