Unless you are using the Post Types Archive display results method, where it can autodetect the taxonomy of an archives page, this is not currently possible, sorry. You can set a value in a field in a form using JavaScript, but then each time the page loads it would revert to that, and setting tat value would not cause the results to reflect that. This should become possible when we release V3 in a few months time.
