We have a substantial site which uses Search and Filter pro.

The filters are working well, however I have one issue which I cannot understand and I’m hoping someone could shed some light on it.

Essentially, the shop products are assigned with attributes which is where the filtering comes from. One of the attributes is ‘Condition’ – New, Refurbished etc.

If you look at this page http://amazonleisure.uk.w3pcloud.com/home-gyms/cardio/treadmill/ you’ll see the filter is showing ‘New’ as the condition but not ‘Refurbished’ etc.

This product – http://amazonleisure.uk.w3pcloud.com/shop/home-gyms/cardio-home-gyms/treadmill/life-fitness-f3-folding-treadmill-with-go-console/ This product has now been changed to a simple product instead however that makes it harder to tell that it is refurbised is refurbished. It’s added to the Condition > refurbished attribute and the correct categories for this page, however the ‘Refurbished’ options still do not appear on the search and filter. If I change the product from a variable product to a simple product the ‘Refurbished’ checkbox does show on the search/filter area.

Why can I not get the refurbished option to show on the search and filter area when it’s a variable product?

I’ve included all the condition attributes within the Search and Filter options but still nothing show.

If the “Hide Empty Terms” is removed then all conditions show up and it works
But then it shows conditions that aren’t available

I hope this all makes sense! Any ideas please?
