I have a single site license.
I’m developing a site with this plugin locally and will launch it to the public.

If I enter the license key to a local developing site to update it, should I buy a new license key to the published one?

Or is there any way to test locally when I update the plugin in a single license key?

For the test site, do not enter the licence key. The plugin will work OK without being activated, all that will not work is automatic updates.

I want to check the site before update it. (Especially after open the site)
If so, I should buy one more license or developer license?

You can download the latest version from Your Account area as a zip file.

Before you try to manually update our plugin, install and activate the plugin below, it will then let you install this latest version of our plugin using the Add New Plugin -> upload method without the error message that normally appears warning you the plugin is already installed, thus preserving the settings and forms, etc:

You can remove that plugin once done (but it is a useful developer tool).

Thanks for getting back to me. I will close this thread for now.
