    Hello,

The method for overriding the result.php file does not work when it is placed in the child theme folder eg /mytheme-child. Is this expected behaviour?

    Regards, Jake.

Did you place it in a sub folder named search-filter, as per this guide:

    https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/search-results/using-a-shortcode/#customising-the-results

    Hi Trevor,

Thanks for your response, yes I tried search-filter and search-filter-pro.

Only search-filter-pro is currently in plugins folder, should search-filter plugin file be present in the plugin directory too?

    Best, Jake.

It needs to be a folder named search-filter and not search-filer-pro in the child theme folder. Can you make it that and test?

    Hi Trevor,

This is where we had the file and re-tested just now to be sure.

    /child-theme-folder/search-filter/templates/results.php

    Only works in:

    /master-theme-folder/search-filter/templates/results.php

    Regards, Jake.

Ah, no templates sub-folder. Directly in the search-filter folder.

Ah, I am very sorry, I just re-checked the documentation and I did misread it.

    Thanks for your responses.
