Hi,
I’m trying to set up an archive page for my projects with a search and filter bar at the top, filtering mainly on categories.
I have followed the steps for Elementor Pro from your documentation, as far as I could get, but it’s not working.
For instance, Elementor Post/Product/Portfolio Widget is not displaying in the display method, Search & Filter Query is not in the Source dropdown list…Can you help me out, please?
Thanks,
Kurt
Trevor(Private) April 15, 2020 at 11:29 am #240101As an afterthought, did you download (the big blue button at the top of the page), install and activate the addon plugin from this page:

Anonymous(Private) April 15, 2020 at 2:34 pm #240131Hi Kurt, I managed to do this, took me quite a while to figure it out :-).
* I created a page to display my search results.
* I installed an extra plugin, Ele Custom Skin, in which I created a loop function.I created a menu in Search & Filter pro.
In the Search & Filter options –
* Display Results I choose Elementor Posts/Portfolio/Products
* In template options I choose the created search results pageThen in the search results page I add the “Posts” widget to display my post list
In the “Posts” widget – query source I select Search & Filter Query
In the “Posts” widget – layout I choose custom and my loop created by Ele Custom skinThis method worked for me!
Good luck 🙂Anonymous(Private) April 18, 2020 at 12:29 am #240509I have the same issue. I have downloaded, installed and activated the elementor addon plugin. Elementor Post/Product/Portfolio Widget is not displaying in the display method, Search & Filter Query is not in the Source dropdown list, when I try to create an archive template with elementor pro. Please help!
thanks
RasikaAnonymous(Private) April 18, 2020 at 10:37 pm #240525I am also having the same problem. I installed the elementor plugin and while I can see the search and filter option in the post query I do not see Elementor Post/Product/Portfolio Widget in the display method. I wish I had seen this before paying for the plugin. I hope you get this fixed quickly.
Anonymous(Private) April 19, 2020 at 7:20 pm #240543Hey Evan,
Finally, I found a workaround using shortcodes. I used the steps in this documentation – https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/getting-started/creating-your-first-search-form/
Still have trouble auto submitting the search form. I have to hit refresh every time for the results to load.Hope you manage to solve your issue.
Anonymous(Private) April 20, 2020 at 3:36 pm #240671Rasika, that’s not really a solution to this problem. We shouldn’t have to come up with workarounds for a feature that doesn’t work as promised. I just paid for S&F Pro in part because of the horrendous support of FacetWP. I really hope this doesn’t prove to be a repeat of that.
