Hi, I’m trying to change radio buttons to drop downs on mobile devices. Just like mentioned in an old topic:
    https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/change-radio-buttons-to-drop-down-on-mobile-devices/

Problem is: the solution in this topic is:
    – duplicate the Filter form
    – change the type of filter for the second one to the drop-down
    – display only on mobile/tablets

I tried this. But when I create the copy, I get this error message:

Error: There are 2 Search Forms set to use Post Type Archive display mode for the post type Woningen – you may only have 1

Since this doesn’t work, what is the best way how can I manage to change to drop down on mobile?

Please note that, as your license appears to have expired a very long time ago, you will first need to renew/complete the license/purchase to receive updates or support.

If you have two forms, you might try setting one to the ‘Custom’ display results method.

With a single form, it is not currently possible to change the field type depending on device, sorry.

Licence is renewed and the filter is working. Thanks!

It isn’t possible if the custom field just has numbers in it. However, you could achieve much the same by having a secondary field with those 3 ‘terms’ in. So, you would set the actual number, and also the range term that applies. Or, you could create a function to automate that part. I showed an example of auto populate here:

Of course, if you have a LOT of posts where you would need to go back and set these values, that might be impractical.

Please note that we are now into an extended public holiday weekend (Friday to Monday inclusive) here in the UK. We may be working for some of this period, but replies may be delayed at times.
