    Hello,

    Is it possible to only allow result for exact matches only? For example, I have a custom field for a Membership ID, I only want the search results to show if a user with the exact Membership ID exists.

    Any help is greatly appreciated 🙂

    This could work, if you are prepared to accept that ALL searches using the text field must be exact matches.

    Searching can be an issue where you offer only 1 or 2 characters. However, strict searching can be enabled if you follow these instructions to set up and install Relevanssi:

    And in their settings you can enforce exact word matching, with or without a fallback option.
