I am a new customer, trying to find answers to questions I have, and most of the responses I see to questions are “marked as private”…so even if I have the same question as another user, I have to ask the same question again, since I can’t see what his “fix” was.
Never the less, I am trying to do something similar to the question in this post…set up multiple different filter options…like you have on your Demo page (https://demo.searchandfilter.com/movies/?_sf_s=YESTER&_sfm_sfdc_vote_average=0+10).
When I set up the Search Form, I can add multiple fields to the search UI, but rather than show different categories (like the Genre & Production Companies you have on the demo). I can add several taxonomy filters…but they all show the same categories (so referencing your demo I would have three Genre filters, and no Production Company).
My question is, how do you get the different filters to each filter on different categories? You can view my current setup at: https://www.silverscreencollectibles.com/shop/
Trevor(Private) January 28, 2020 at 8:19 am #232251It is better to make your own thread, with reference to the other post, in this case:
https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/woocommerce-product-with-variation-filter/
Posts are generally private if the poster is passing information of no relevance to other users or passing private logins or contact details, or site details that are private. It is the nature of this forum that it is used by developers, who would not want to make public details of their clients sites.
My experience is that, whilst a description of a problem often looks like one you might be experiencing, when examined is a different issue.
Note that, the initial post is always public, but follow up posts can be made private.
I will pick this thread up and reply during our work day today (Tuesday).
Anonymous(Private) January 29, 2020 at 3:54 pm #232529I need to be able to filter on different categories, on each filter type. Referenceung my website, the first filter would be for Product Category “Lobby Card”, “Autograph”, etc. The second filter would be to narrow it down by Genre and the third by Studio. I am basically typing to do what you show on you demo video site.

Trevor(Private) January 29, 2020 at 4:38 pm #232539OK. I think this post describes what you need to do:

Anonymous(Private) January 29, 2020 at 6:08 pm #232553Again…on your own demo page: https://demo.searchandfilter.com/movies/?_sf_s=YESTER&_sfm_sfdc_vote_average=0+10
At the bottom of the page you note that the filter set up is:
-Search
-Genre
Taxonomy Filter, Checkboxes
– Production Company
Taxonomy Filter, Dropdown…how do you get S&F to use two different taxonomy categories (“Genre” & “Production Company”)??
At the moment, I have three different filters set up…but all use the same category…
