    Hi,

    I am on version 2.4.0 and trying to install version 2.5.0 but get the message “Destination folder already exists”. I see on the forum that many have experienced this problem but no where can I see responses to these tickets.

    I assume that you are trying to install from a downloaded zip (archive) file?

    If you temporarily install this plugin and activate it, it will allow you to do this:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

    Once done, you can remove that plugin.
