update fail - Search & Filter Support

hello, I try to upload to 2.5.0 version but the upgrade fail.
I have pro licence activate in my settings.
please your help ASAP

Did you try to update by clicking the update button on the plugins page, or did you download the new version zip file and try add new plugin?

If the former, try deactivating the licence and reactivating it.

Hi

Same issue here. I am currently using version 2.4.6.

If I click “Deactivate license” the page reloads. However, it still says “active” next to the button so deactivating it seems impossible.

How to proceed?

Hi Michael

That might happen depending on server caching and the actual deactivation may have actually happened, and will show up after a period of time.

You can check Your Account to see what site(s) are activated.

You can also update manually by downloading the latest version from Your Account. If you have this additional plugin installed (that generally allows manual updating in this way):

https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

You then install the new version as a NEW plugin, and WordPress actually uses it to update instead.

Thanks Trevor.

It was my mistake: In my account -> view licenses -> manage sites I discovered that for some the actual site URL was not there. Only a subdomain was visible.

Changed that and now it works like a charm.
