    We receive the following message when trying to update this plugin on our WordPress instance.

    • Search & Filter Pro (2.4.6 » 2.5.0)
    Failed to download the update. Please check that you have a valid license attached to your website, and we will try again later.

    I purchased a new license, but we receive an error when trying to upload the files. How can we download the update?

    Hi Carrie

    It looks like your license has not been activated on a site yet, which is an important step to complete before you can recieve automatic updates.

    Can you try the steps here and let me know when that has been completed?

    Our IT person tried using the instructions you provided, but still received an error. Here is the error she received:

    Update Plugins
    The update process is starting. This process may take a while on some hosts so please be patient.
    Enabling Maintenance mode…

    Updating Plugin Search & Filter Pro (1/1)
    Downloading update from https://searchandfilter.com/edd-s1…then the rest of the link

    An error occurred while updating SEarch & Filter Pro: Download Failed. Unauthorized.

    Disabling Maintenance mode…
    All updates have been completed.
