Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › Using Relevanssi with my search and selecting 2 Taxonomies it still searches all
Tagged: relevanssi, Taxonomies, taxonomy
Hi – I’m using Search & Filter Pro along with the Relevanssi plugin. I have my search set up to pull from a Custom Post Type that I have set up using CPT UI. I also have 2 specific Taxonomies set up (one for zip and one for city). I have Relevanssi set up to search only that one post type along with those two taxonomies. However, it still allows me to search by title, and the other fields inside the Custom Post Type. (I am using Advanced Custom Fields as well). I would love for the search to only allow for zip and city search (which are my Taxonomies). Is this possible or am I looking for something that won’t ever work? I just wanted to mostly gauge my expectations, or if it is possible, see if I can get some help figuring out what I may have done incorrectly to cause it to not work the way I was hoping. Thanks for your help! If you would like to see an example, you can visit our Staging site at colonycocktails.sdcopartners.com and scroll down the the “Stockists” section on the Home page.
The options for how and what Relevanssi searches are withing that plugin’s settings. However, they do also have hooks:
