Tagged: No results, search field
Hi,
I have set up Search & Filter Pro within a custom template.
It works great when I simply use tags/taxonomys to produce search results. But as soon as I type into the search field two strange things happen….
Go to: http://smaccgold.staging.wpengine.com/the-talks-archive
1) the title of the page should be ‘Blog’. However, after typing a term into the search field and submitting it the name changes (to ‘XX SEARCH RESULTS FOR: XXXX’).
2) If you type a keyword into the search field, no results show. Yet in the title it says there are results (and you can see pagination) However, if you use the same keyword in one of the tags/taxonomies drop downs, results are found.
Eg., Type ‘smaccGold’ into the search field. The title reads ’23 Search Results For: smaccGold’ and there are 2 pages according to the pagination….just no posts showing. Then, clear the search field and select ‘smaccGold’ from the All Conferences drop down, and the title reads ‘Blog’ and all 23 posts are visible.
Help? This is quite urgent.
Thanks,
Kate
