    Hey Trevor,

    I have an Search Form working perfectly – when I activate Relevanssi somehow the “searchbox” breaks and wont filter anything anymore.

    I try to make the filter work in an acf field (somehow this worked on an staging area a while before). Relevanssi should be configured right and also the acf fields are in cache.

    Hey Trevor,

    of course I had those options checked but deactivated for noit throwing any errors.

    I activated everything again and also rebuild the cache (SF & Relevanessi) but still the same error occurs, that as soon as I have an text search (combined or not with an tick box search) the Filter is not working…
    If you please could have a further look at this problem 🙂

    Does it work if Custom Fields in Relevanssi is OFF?

    If you enable WP_DEBUG and log errors to the screen, do any show up?

    Turning off CF did not change anything (index rebuilt)

    also – no error is beeing displayed [set to true for a while now]

    Most odd. There are two other debugging steps to take.

    One is to test with as many other plugins deactivated as possible, and the other is to do the same but using a standard WP theme like TwentySixteen. Could you try these suggestions and get back to me?

    ++Solved can be closed++

    Solution:

    When working with the theme Enfold you may not have any other content on the same site than the Code Snippet and the product grid. I had an textelement displayed before and as soon as I had it deleted the search was working fine again.

    My solution was to add the text via an filter in functions.php on that page and it all worked out fine now 🙂
