    Hi,

    We have a WooCommerce site with a lot of products and custom taxonomies.

    Everytime we had new product to new custom taxonomies, we need to rebuild the cache.

    Can we make a cron job to rebuild the cache ? So the cache can be rebuild during night ?

    Another question, why when we rebuild the cache, it’s not possible to see product on th efront end of the site ? Could it be possible that when it rebuilts the cache, it builds another array and when finish just replace the old cache by the new array cache. Seems to me we wouldn’t get this effect of not seeing the products on the frontend. Specially when it takes 45 minutes to rebuild the cache.

    There is no cron function to do this, but you should not need to be doing this. How are you adding/editing the products?

    There is 2 scenarios that we create/edit a product.

    We create a product normally and select the corresponding good custom taxonomy to it. The normal WordPress way of adding/editing a product. Nothing fancy.

    1- We schedule the post to go publish in the future (a few days to a week)
    2- We create/edit a product that we want to go live at the moment.

    Either way, once we go on the front, we don’t see our new products in shop page with the correct filter.

    — We have a custom taxonomy called “region”, if we create new region, and the assign it new products. Even this don’t work.

    The only way we are to see the products live is to rebuild the cache.

    Hi Trevor,

    I still have the same problem with the cache.

    We had to click rebuild the cache in order to get our all of the new products in the search.

    By nature, we only had 4 products in our new region.

    Would it be because we have a lot of products ?
    Is it because we have disabled the wp_cron, and use a server cron?
    Is it because we set the products to be published at a certain time?
    The products was published yesterday at 15:00. And even this morning, not all products were in the search result.

    There is 6400 products.
