    I have some filters on our site and for each result, I use the CUSTOM method (because we use the Avada Theme).

    These filters with this method work well but I currently installed a plugin for translation (languages) in the website and this same plugin updates the URL for example:

    http://www.website.com/en
    or
    http://www.website.com/en
    or
    http://www.website.com/fr

    So, by linking the filter result to the URL http://www.website.com, the plugin does not show the same results (AJAX) on the translated page (ex: http://www.website/en).

    I need to know if there is a solution for the translated site.

    Did you use a translation plugin like WPML or Polylang?

    The form is the same ID number for both pages, but the form must be translated. I have not used the plugin you have installed, but are the forms set as translatable, and then it must be translated so that the two forms are linked. Reading our documentation for WPML might help:

    Hello. I think I’m in the same situation as Camila.

    The site on which I’m working has been translated into 2 languages, Italian and English, with WPML. Every language has its own directory, that is

    http://mywebsite.com/page/article/ for the primary language

    and

    http://mywebsite.com/page/article/en/ for the second language

    The search form works fine in Italian, using the shortcode and a proper result page.

    In English, though, the search results come back to the Italian page, even if there’s a translated proper page, with the translated form.

    I tried to add the parameter /?lang=en as you say here (but this is not the case IMHO…)

    but the image is truncated and I can’t see the entire URL of the example.

    Can you help?

    Hello, Trevor.
    I did it!!!

    For anyone interested:

    – use a shortcode in a proper page in the first language
    – create a page with both shortcodes (form and display results)
    – translate form and page in a second language with WPML

    Please note, in WPML settings the URL must be added as a parameter, otherwise it won’t work in the second language.
