Thanks for responding! I don’t see an option for uploading images, so I would like my drop-down list on this page https://galaxyofstars.org/galaxy-u/?_sft_category=book to display as a vertical list such as the left main navigation menu in the same image.
Trevor(Private) May 22, 2019 at 5:07 pm #212055If you only want one choice that can be selected, make the field a radio button field, otherwise make it a checkbox field. Then it needs custom CSS to hide the radio/checkbox and to highlight the label when selected.
Make the change, and tomorrow (it is past closing time now here in the UK) I will give you the custom CSS. Let me know if that is OK and when you have made the change?
Anonymous(Private) May 22, 2019 at 5:12 pm #212063No, I’m sorry. I’m not explaining it well. I have several categories (and will add more): Books, Videos, Podcasts, Articles, Downloads, and the like. I do not want them in a drop-down menu, I want them in a list so you can see all categories without clicking the drop-down to view.
Trevor(Private) May 23, 2019 at 5:48 am #212119I think I understood you. For example, if you make the field checkbox instead of dropdown, it IS a vertical list, but it has the checkboxes with labels. By hiding the checkboxes only the labels remain, looking like a menu. Is that not what you wanted?
Anonymous(Private) May 26, 2019 at 10:57 pm #212544I’m sorry to keep pestering you, but I cannot make this work. I have switched to checkboxes (from drop-down), and using CSS, hid the checkboxes. The categories no longer show a count and, though they are clickable, they do not return any results. I have one podcast and one book, so these two categories should return results.
