Hi, I’m using the posts_orderby hook to set a custom order for a post type on other pages but where we use the search default listing and then when it does a search it doesn’t adhere to this order is there any other custom hooks etc to order search results different to what the UI allows?
The Posts settings tab allows some control over sorting, but complex sorting should be done using our https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/action-filter-reference/#edit-query-arguments filter.
Post Type order type plugins, that use pre_get_posts, will most likely disrupt the correct functioning of our filter.
