    Dear Trevor, sorry to bore you again.
    But today I’ve opened the site to go on and I had to notice that the activation of the plugin Relevanssi that you’ve made yesterday, generates the first problem that I had. Because with relevanssi the Search looks into Categories and Attributes, but stops to work for the Excerpt of each portfolio item.
    So I’ve deactivated Relevanssi, but unfortunately the Search doesn’t seem to work again with the Excerpts.
    Any string that you search gives as result all the portfolio items… I don’t know what to do.
    How did you yesterday make it to work with excerpts (that are most important that categories and attributes at this point)?

    Ok Sorry Trevor. You can close this. I’ve found the problem. In the Relevanssi options I’ve had to select Custom Fields “All”. It’s a problem caused by Salient (again 🙂 and Relevanssi. Now the search it’s completely ok.

    In WP Admin (the Dashboard), go to Search and Filter, select the form and edit it. Across the top of the form are some settings tabs. Advanced is the last one (on the right).

    Ok, I understand: if I use Relevanssi I’ll have to turn it on from here. If I don’t use I have to turn it off.
    Anyway now everything seems to be working good. The Search is functioning, looking at texts inside the items of the portfolio, categories and attribute.
    I’m using Relevanssi, and I had to set on “All” the Custom Field search (that if disabled by default). Doing this I’ve solved everything.
