    Hi guys…

I’m reaching out to see if anyone has suggestions on how to solve an issue we experience on a random basis.

Our site heavily relies upon S&F Pro and generally speaking our integration has been working fabulously to show filtered “event” (Custom Post Type) results.

The challenge is that every once in a while (maybe 3-4 times per year…sometimes more often, usually at really bad times) the S&F cache appears to get corrupted (or something) and return “No Results”. Logging into the WP Admin and clicking the “Rebuild Cache” button will solve the issue, but clearly isn’t a permanent solution and can take 10-15 minutes to complete.

Can someone at S&F assist us with some options to avoid this issue?

Perhaps building a cron job that automatically rebuilds the cache in the in the middle of the night?

Or maybe there’s a simpler approach?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Ryan

This is something that will be very difficult to troubleshoot.

Our cache should not need any changes unless events are updated, added, deleted or in any way changed. Do these changes happen automatically (for example using an import or sync plugin or custom code), or are all changes made manually in the WordPress post editor?

As a slight aside, what hosting are you using (host and type of hosting)?

    Hi Trevor…

We look forward to working with you to sort out this issue.

It appears randomly, and yes, events are added regularly…but not “automatically”. Meaning, all Events are created using the WordPress post editor (no importing/syncing/etc).

We use WPEngine for our hosting.

    Standing by!

I am not aware of such a function that can be called. When you get the no results found issue, no searches will run? Even ones that would yield only one or two results? Or, when you go to the page with the search on, it defaults to no results found?
