Almost there..
I added 2 forms to a page:
https://www.dl-sounds.com/member/downloads/category/atmospheric-meditation/ambient/
1 category filter in sidebar widget (Post type archive)
1 top “sort by” form in the right top (As an Archive)
If I use the sort by filter it is sorting all postst (EDD downloads). But i want the sorter to sort the current category from the category filter in the sidebar.
example: sort by name in the category “Ambient” etc.
Is this possible?
I am sorry, but it is not possible to have two forms on the same page interact with each other. At best one will override the other, at worst, they might cause each other not to work properly.
For now the sort will need to be in the sidebar form. However, V3 is coming, and while this may still require the sort in the one form, each field in the form can be placed individually on the page (in different places).
