Hi- I am using the search & filter on my category.php page on my site and would appreciate your help!

I am displaying all the posts for a particular category using the WP loop and am trying to filter by the tags of the posts for that category.

I have updated my category page url to go to ‘/{category-name}’ instead of /category/{category-name} and would like the filter to use the dynamic category url ‘/{category-name}?_sft_post_tag={tag…}’ instead of only ‘?_sft_post_tag={tag…}’

When I use the settings Display results method: “Post Type Archive” with Enable filtering on Taxonomy Archives (to use correct url I want of ‘/{category-name}?_sft_post_tag={tag…}), when I select a tag, the section reloads but displays ALL of the posts for the category. In Settings > General > Search in the following post types: I only have “Posts” selected.

The posts display and filter correctly with Ajax if I use the settings:
Display results method: “As an Archive”, but the url is going to ‘?_sft_post_tag={tag…}’.

Happy to send my URL and any other useful information privately. Thank you so much for your help!

I have made some changes to the form. Other than the Category is added to the form and currently visible, is this how you wanted it?

Thank you! This is perfect. For future reference, what changes did you make to make this work?

The links below are all screenshots, so click them to view them. It is necessary for Category to be in the form, so I added it back, but hid it with custom CSS, as you will see:

Each step is required (the red arrows and boxes indicate what I changed, with the exception of the autodetect Category, which you already had ON, but it IS needed.
