    Hi Trevor,

We’re working on speeding up https://poppenoog.nl at the moment and so far we’ve moved to better hosting, installed WP Rocket and use cloudflare. These are all really boosting up the system. However we would still like it to be a little bit faster.

When using tools like GT-Metrix and Pingdom we notice the page https://poppenoog.nl/huurboten has 6701 DOM elements on the page. It looks like this page loads all the items from all of the Search & Filter forms. Is this necessary? If not, how can we make sure it doesn’t do it?

If you have any other advice on speeding up Search & Filter Pro, we’d love to hear about it!

    Best regards,
    Robin

What elements is it loading that you think are unnecessary?

    Hi Trevor,

I must be honest that we’re not fully aware of how this works. We we’re thinking those elements are the items that are in the filters. But since we have 4905 items (boats) on poppenoog.nl/huurboten we’d reckon it would be max 4905 elements.

If that’s the case, we’d like to make sure all the other elements will get reduced.

    Best regards,
    Robin

Are you able to make a screenshot of the reports you are looking at and give me a link to them so I can view them?

    Hi Trevor,

The stupid thing is that GT Metrix notify’s us but it doesn’t show the exact elements. You can see the report here: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/poppenoog.nl/VLrjvGBL
