Hello, I had a bit of custom work done by you guys on my filter set up with Beaver Builder, I’m just curious whether there is any way that the filter plugin could be causing server spikes on my site when visitor use the filter.
I’ve tried everything, I monitor security (Wordfence Pro License), I use a great cache tool and a CDN, I use BBQ plugin and block any high usage IPs.
If you know of anyone that can solve this I’d be really interested as I’m stumped.
thanks
Ollie

I don’t have a monitor plugin installed and only use AWS on the server to try and diagnose what is going on, all I can tell apart from the occassional IP address generating too many requests is that the issues seems to come from the website in question, davan.co.uk
I’m looking at Query Monitor now and can see that Search and Filter is making x6 calls from my the page the filter is on.
I have to dash now but will look more into the specifics when I get in tomorrow. Thanks Trevor

I know that the site gets crawled a lot by various companies and I’m adjusting the Rate Limiting feature of Wordfence making sure to turn off all the live stats and auto scanning. Anyway, thanks for your support.
Have a good one.
