    Have you set the WooCommerce shop page in the WooCommerce Products settings?

    I would suggest that something is amiss with the theme. If I switch to TwentySeventeen, there is not an issue. A 404 might be returned if the query yielded no results. This suggests that you must be doing something to the query that is conflicting with when our plugin hooks in to the query.

    I checked functions.php and deleted all filters and actions but the problem still remains.

    It must be in the template files. The theme you are using normally has no front end content, so you must had added templates back in?
