Hi – we have a site that uses https, although not forced so http can also be used.
This causes a problem if a search results page is viewed using a different protocol than the one set in the results url.
I thought the way around this would be to use a protocal-relative url for the results, however this doesn’t work as expected and the issues then appear for both protocols.
Is it therefore not possible to use a protocal-relative url for the results url?

You can modify the URL, see this documentation, but it would be far better to move your whole site to use https if you already have a certificate:
