I had this working before, but somehow it broke. Under Settings & Defaults –> “Tags, Categories & Taxonomies” I have entered a bunch of categories to include, but all of them are showing up in the search. Tags are working fine.
Also under “set a slug” I have one set, but now I am getting a 404 error. (I have rolled back the plugin to try and fixe the above, but it didn’t help.)
page here: https://www.techykids.com/category/projects/ Now its also not searching properly, lots of errors.
“/projects/?sf_data=results&_sft_category=buildingmechanical Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
/projects/?sf_data=results Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
jquery.js:4 GET https://www.techykids.com/projects/?sf_data=results&_sft_post_tag=robotmagic 404 (Not Found)”I think part of the issue is I had a “/” in the category name, and I remove it and now am receiving errors like “jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:4 GET https://www.techykids.com/projects/?sf_data=results 404 (Not Found)
send @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:4

Anonymous(Private) April 5, 2018 at 9:50 pm #170467Hi Trevor, thanks for your follow up. I was able to get it working again by deleted the category area and replacing it. It was a strange little bug, but its fine again. Thought Search & Replace only works properly for me with version 2.3.4. Updating to 2.4.1 caused issues for me.
Amongst them- Also under “set a slug” I have one set, but now I am getting a 404 error. And the search stopped working for projects. But maybe it had something to do with the strange bug I encountered mentioned above. Anyways, it is working fine for me right now, so I’d rather not touch it, even though I am running an outdated version.
Anonymous(Private) April 6, 2018 at 10:06 pm #170731How did you resave the Permalinks? That issue was happening on both the test server and the main site. Let me know how you did that and I’ll be more inclined to update the main site again. And test it out again to see if I still get the other error of it not filtering categories.
Anonymous(Private) April 6, 2018 at 10:25 pm #170733I updated the plugin on the live site and received this: https://www.techykids.com/projects/ “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.” The cache has rebuilt.
