    The simplest way I can think of is to add a custom field (maybe with ACF) that simply shows for sale or not, and then add this to the Post Meta conditions. If you have a lot of posts already, this would be time consuming.

    That is an interesting idea, I could even pre-populate the ACF field based on the prod_cat, that would indeed solve the problem for removing all other products that are not under the category.

    But still, do you think if is there anything we could do about keeping the category hierarchy on the filter form? It seems that the plugin just do not care about that when generating the form and I could not find any option for that in the settings page.

    Where are you trying to keep the hierarchy? In a field on the form? Are you able to show me?

    Is S&F on that page? If not, can you put it there with checkboxes (with the hierarchical option ON)?
