    Hello,

    I am currently running a local and live version of my site. I am using both a filter shortcode [searchandfilter id=”001″] and a query using the $args[‘search_filter_id’] = 001 in several templates.

    I want to update the shortcodes on each of the filters so that the live site and the local site are identical, however, every time I try to change the ids or slugs from the edit filter page, it reverts back to the original id/slug. Is there anyway to update these?

    There is not, no. These are actually post IDs as made by WordPress. If you do a mirrored migration (where both sites are identical, and there are many migration tools that do this), then the IDs should be the same. Some methods of site duplication do not keep the post IDs the same.
