Is it possible to have multiple search forms on one page, that don’t forget existing options?
IE: Our site has a keyword form in the header, a sidebar form with taxonomies, and another shortcoded form above results to sort. All pointing to the same post type and template. But if you type a keyword, and on the next result set, try to sort by something, the keyword will not carry over to the next result set.
Thanks!
Not at the moment but I’m looking into it 🙂
Hi Ross
I think this is exactly/similar to what I am looking for and wondered if there is now a solution for this?
I have three forms using ajax, one in the header, one in the sidebar and another on my homepage. They all point to the EDD downloads page but as I am using ajax page refreshes, the instance in the header does not update with the options that have been selected in the sidebar/homepage instance.
Have you got any code that can be used in the sf:ajaxfinish or in my ajax code for page refreshing that would update forms to display the currently selected options?
Many thanks
