Hey Erwin
Customising Search & Filter layouts its just the same as customising any layout in your theme.
First, make sure you know how to customise your results depending on which method you are using:
http://www.designsandcode.com/wordpress-plugins/search-filter-pro/docs/display-results/
And then please see below for some suggestions I’ve made to another user with a similar request:

Thanks

Unfortunately not. We’re about to release v 2.0 in the next month, and then after this there is a big focus of customisability – so there will be “themes” or colour schemes you can use for your search form as well as I’ll be creating a few templates that ship with the plugin – but for now I’m afraid not.
Do you have a grid layout like this existing in your theme?
Thanks

I took a quick look, but unfortunately I don’t see anything you can use – check the docs here:
http://www.designsandcode.com/wordpress-plugins/search-filter-pro/docs/display-results/
If you had a compatible template within your theme then we might have been able to use that – but as we don’t there’s not much more I can do in terms of displaying your results as a grid.
You’ll have to get some outside help on styling that page up I’m afraid – I’d try the WordPress stack exchnage – http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/
Just so you know, creating a grid for S&F results is pretty much the same as creating a grid for any archive template – so perhaps asking about making your archive pages into a grid would get more responses than mentioning this plugin specifically!
Thanks
