    I am using this plugin on this page http://ekoliving.staging.wpengine.com/properties and for whatever reason the studio checkbox is always checked by default.

    It is checked when the page loads, and if you uncheck and perform a search it is checked again on the results page.

    I can’t find where this could be happening.

    I think it is because you have set Studio to be stored as a value of 0 in the ACF field group definition, but 0 is usually used as the default value in a list. If you have no real need for the stored values to be numbers, make it a letter (such as S), otherwise give it a value of 0.5

    You would have to edit each studio property and reselect the Studio and save.
