    Hi Trevor,
This will be a familiar site to you! I’m still developing a ‘deals’ database search function on a client’s website. It’s now more or less working but the client has thrown a spanner in the works. It’s probably not possible but I might as well ask.
    Here’s the link:
    dev.acfib.com/deals
In order to appeal to different markets, the client wanted some deals to be represented in two different ways (Brand Licensing contains all the duplicates). The problem is is they don’t want the second version to appear in the list before any filters are applied but they DO want them to show when selected from the sector dropdown (which are taxonomies).
Can you think of any way to achieve this? I’ve tried excluding the particular taxonomy but, of course, that excludes it completely (as you would expect).
Also, on another separate issue, you’ll notice that the page scrolls to the search form. Previously when we chatted, you felt it wasn’t caused by S&F Pro but if I switch S&F Pro off it no longer does this.

My feeling is that you have some sort of auto scrolling javascript on the page that is interfering with and triggering our script.

As to the other request. No, it is not feasible.

I can’t think what would be triggering the script. How could I find out? Is there a way to disable it completely from Search and Filter Pro, as I don’t need it.

With regards to the other issue, are you or anyone at Search & Filter Pro are in a position to come up with some custom programming that would solve our problem? It would mean items with the taxonomy of ‘Brand Licensing’ only show up if selected from the drop down ‘Sector’ menu. It’s just I have to report back and they will ask me if it can be programmed.

Scrap the programming request. The client is happy now that the pagination is working (was a bug in Beaver Themer, as you said). We can go live \O/

They haven’t mentioned anything, but the scrolling thing is bugging me.
