Hello, I’ve set up the plugin and everything is looking great! The problem I seems to be having is a lack of results. I’m not sure if this is related to settings or something deeper and I was hoping you could take a look.

You can see in the link above that I am using the shortcode in the sidebar and on the results page, which all works fine and even the list seems to work. Where I’m having an issue is that while every location doesn’t currently have data, places like Indiana, does (link here).

I’d be happy to provide any further info you need.

    Thanks

I can see that the form is looking for data in a Meta Key called _VenueState

How was that field made, as when I go to the event you gave, and edit that event, I do not see that data?

Or, is it in the venue associated with that event, but venues are a different Post Type, so the related data cannot be searched like that, it being a complex relationship.

The venue is associated with the event so unfortunately it’s a bit of a complex relationship. Is there a way you can see this working? Perhaps a way to call for the event_ids in the category?

Sadly not. The Events Calendar is a plugin that does it all wrong from a WordPress POV. It was easier to code it the way they did. There are other threads here about this events plugin. At some point, we will extend our plugin to support it, if we can.
