Hi there and thank you for a good plugin
I have two questions:
1) How do I make a ‘dependent’ drop down?
I mean; when i have 2 drop downs, and the second one should not be ‘available’ — possible to click on’— before the 1st ones value has bin chosen?2) I would like a chronological date value to be present in one of the drop downs. BUT; it should not be related to the ‘post_date’ or any other predefined date-values in the system, but to a value i chose to put in, that is; the date when i made the material i upload.
That can be many different dates, that is not default chronological, but i would like the system to ‘recognize’ the numbers and sort them chronological. If you can help me out with that, i will be SO thankful.
Have a nice day and thank you again.

1) This option is not available yet in the plugin, but I plan to add it..
2) You can do this in different ways:
a) You can create a custom taxonomy for your posts and create a dropdown in the search form for these – this plugin is great for adding taxonomies- http://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-taxonomy-manager/
b) You can create a custom field and add the dates to your posts, then you can use the “post meta” field in S&F to create a dropdown for these values – one of the best custom field creators is this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-custom-fields/
🙂

Thank you for answering and thank you for your guidance on no2.
Can you tell me; is there any simple workaround in WordPress for making a dependent drop down?
I just need it to show the relevant information from the first line of choice — so after the user has chosen a location, they will only be informed with information related to that choice and not for the rest of the world.Ross Moderator(Private) June 4, 2014 at 2:14 pm #1255Sorry Rene, if it was an easy work around I would have already included this!
