    Hi Ross,
    After define a slug for a Search Form, the search filters stop working, but without the slug it works. What could be wrong?

    Hi there

    I had a look, basically when you are using the slug its not working, this is because for some reason WP cannot convert “teachings” to the ID, to fetch the correct data.

    Now, I’m not sure why this is occurring – it is likely some conflict in a plugin or theme you have.

    Try the following:

    1) Rename the slug to something else as a test.
    2) Refresh the WP permalinks – in the WP Dashboard goto settings -> permalinks – change your structure to “default”, save, then change your structure back.
    3) Disable your other plugins
    4) Change you theme to a default WP theme

    I suspect another plugin or your theme is causing the issue – possibly not handling WP rewrites correctly which prevents them from working here.
