    Hi I am having trouble in setting up search and filter in custom taxonomy page.
    I have “taxonomy-project-type.php” how can Add search and filter for the each taxonomy archive.

    Hello,
    Please Ignore the first comment I fixed that, I have the new issue.
    In taxonomy page, I want only to show the current taxonomy and its child in filter drop-down option.
    Is there any way I can achieve this.

    On the general settings, did you check (ON) the auto detect for taxonomies?

    Yes I have general Setting .

    But nothing changes.

    OK, so when I go to the category filter page you gave, I see that it has correctly selected ‘commercial’

    Is this not what you wanted?

    Yes but I don’t want other Categories in “Filter by category” option.
    When I am in Category filter page, I want only That category and its children category to be listed in filter option.
